Dear Christian Women,

Have you ever wished for a way to fellowship with other Christian women who love the Lord? Have you ever wanted to have a closer relationship to God through Bible study and prayer? Have you ever wanted to SERVE the Lord through service? As women, have you ever wanted to find purpose and have a voice for yourself in the world, community and church? If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions, then the Christian Women’s Fellowship is for you!

We need Christian fellowship to grow in the Lord. Women who love the Lord need a safe place to share and care with one another. Our purpose is: “To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and service to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.” We invite… encourage… want… and need you in CWF! Make plans to join us.

In Christ,

Kellay Rice

Women's Bible Study - Women of Grace & Gumption

In our first Bible Study, we will delve into scripture to meet some of our fellow women. God has much to say, and His characters are varied and complex. Some have names, while many do not. Some are perfect examples of the woman we all strive to be, and some are the epitome of evil...and the Lord included them in His book for important and varied reasons.

There are so many women mentioned in our Bible, and it has been a challenge to narrow the number down to eighteen! In the process of selecting specific individuals we would cover, I tried to choose those of different walks of life, different social status, different moral values, and of different ages. Each week we will focus on two women who share a common characteristic.

The format of the Bible study is not one of “sermons”. I will serve as the leader of the study, but the majority of the time will be spent in reading the scripture and having discussions. I sincerely feel every single woman in the class has something to say, and that we will all learn from each other.

I’m looking forward to spending this time with my fellow women of faith. Don’t hesitate to call if you have questions.
